Another way to connect to the internet is by turning your smartphone or cellular-enabled tablet into a Wi-Fi Hotspot. You can then connect your computer to your smartphone’s Wi-Fi signal. You may also be able to connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth or USB. Either way, you are connecting to the internet using your smartphone’s data connection through your cellular provider. Note that not all cellular plans support personal hotspots and separate charges may apply. However, smartphone hotspots are becoming much more popular and most smartphones and carriers can support the feature.

- Abre Configuración > Hotspot personal.
- Activa Permitir que otros se unan.
- Establece la contraseña si es necesario.
Puedes cambiar el nombre de tu zona activa por algo único.
- Abre Ajustes.
- Desplázate y pulsa General > Acerca de.
- Selecciona Nombre e introduce el nombre de tu punto de acceso preferido.
Usar tu smartphone para conectarte a Internet es más seguro que la Wi-Fi pública. Nadie puede espiar las comunicaciones entre tu smartphone y tu computador.
