Clock

The Clock "" app includes a world clock, alarms, a stopwatch, and a timer. You can open the Clock app from the Home screen or from the Control Center by tapping the timer button. Use the menu at the bottom of the screen to choose the feature you want to use or configure.

Adding a world clock

  1. Open Clock.
  2. Tap World Clock.
  3. Tap Edit, then + to add a city.
  4. Tap the delete button to remove a city from your world clock.
  5. Drag the reorder button to reorder the cities in your list.

Setting an alarm

  1. Open Clock.
  2. Tap Alarm "".
  3. Tap the add button and use the wheels to set a time.
  4. Select the options for Repeat, Sound, and if you want to make Snooze available for the alarm.
  5. Tap Save to save your alarm and exit.

Sleep alarm

The Sleep | Wake Up function is active if you set up a sleep schedule in the Health app.

Using the Stopwatch function

  1. Open Clock.
  2. Tap Stopwatch .
  3. Tap Start to begin. Tap Lap to create splits, Reset to reset the stopwatch to zero.

Using the Timer function

  1. Open Clock.
  2. Tap Timer the timer button.
  3. Select a time and tap Start.

By far, the easiest way to set alarms and timers is to use Siri. Tell Siri to “set an alarm for 8 am,” or “set a timer for 30 minutes.” And you can always ask Siri the time. By default, Siri will respond with the local time, but you can ask her “what time is it in Hong Kong” or any city and she’ll do the calculation for you.
