Screen Time summarizes your iPhone usage, breaking down the time spent by categories and apps. Screen Time also gives insight into how frequently you pick up your device and which apps send you the most notifications. For parents, Screen Time lets you set time limits on apps and categories of apps, as well as set downtime periods with a start and end time.
You can easily check your usage by looking at Screen Time’s summary.
Open Settings > Screen Time and tap any of the options (Downtime, App Limits, Communication Limits, Always Allowed, Content & Privacy Restrictions) to open options for additional controls.
Use the Always Allowed list to permit the use of any health-related apps, and perhaps apps like Messages if you need to use these for communicating with a child.
