Notes

The Notes "" app is great for casual note-taking, list-making, and sketching. You can format your note using headings and add tables to organize your data. You can also draw, add photographs and use the camera to scan documents to add as notes. Notes can transcribe your dictated notes with punctuation!

Notes synced to iCloud will sync to your other devices signed in to the same account. This also means that shared notes update automatically for everyone they are shared with.

Typing and dictating a note

  1. On the Home screen, tap Notes "". The app will open to the last note you were viewing or working on.
  2. Tap the New Note button (lower right) to begin a new note.

  5. You can also tap the Dictate key to activate Siri and dictate your note. Ask Siri to “start a new note.” You can verbalize punctuation, like saying “comma.” The punctuation will be inserted, not the word. (You must be connected to the Internet to use dictation.) You can edit text with the keyboard while dictating.
