Books App

You can buy and read books and listen to audiobooks in the Books  app. Your books will be synced to your other Apple devices (must be running iOS 12 or later).

Use the navigation buttons at the bottom to go to your recent list, view your personal library, or browse for new books and audiobooks.

Apple Books are magic

Some books are optimized for Books. They can read themselves aloud, turn the pages, and highlight text as it is being read! Some books are interactive. There are even coloring books that work right within Books.

Use Siri to find titles

You can use the search function in Books to find good reads by your favorite authors or titles, or tap in the search field and let Siri do the work for you.

Customize Books to your liking

When you have a book open, tap a page to open a menu of options to change the brightness, page color, text size, and more.

Copy your PDFs to Books

You can open your PDF documents in Books and read them with the features that Books offers.

1. Touch and hold the PDF attachment, then tap Copy to Books.
2. Tap the PDF attachment to open it, tap the Share button, then tap Copy to Books.
