Search

Search can find almost anything on your device or on the web. Over time, you will add lots of files—apps, email, and music to name a few—to your device as you use it. Sometimes it is difficult to find these things. Just type in a portion of a title or keyword and Search will look for matches in:

• Apps
• Mail
• Contacts
• Music
• Notes
• Calendars
• The web and Wikipedia

To begin a Search, tap the Search box located just above the Dock or swipe down from the middle of any Home Screen page or the Today View. Begin typing keywords (title of an app, contact name, name of a document) to begin the search. You can also tap the microphone icon and speak your search. Notice that Siri suggestions, which will include frequently used apps, will display just below the search box.
