Deleting and Retrieving Email

When you delete an email, it goes into the Trash folder. You can view and retrieve messages in your Trash folder for 30 days.

 Note: Messages in your Trash folder are automatically deleted After 30 days. You cannot retrieve messages once deleted from the Trash folder.

Deleting email

  • Open the message, then click Delete "" .
  • To delete multiple messages at once, select the check box to the left of each email you wish to delete, then click Delete ""  .

Viewing, retrieving, and deleting messages in Trash

  • To view messages in the Trash folder, click the Trash label in the Main Menu. Depending on your device, Trash may be hidden. If so, click More, then click Trash.

  • To retrieve a message from Trash, select the message or the checkbox next to the message, then click Move to "" and select the label you want to apply. You can return the message to your main inbox by applying the Inbox label.
  • Click Delete forever to delete a message or messages from the Trash folder permanently. This action is not reversible.
  • Click Empty Trash now to delete all messages in the Trash folder permanently.
