Deleting Your Browsing History

Your browser records all of the web pages you visit and syncs that history between every browser device. Your history syncs to your account (Google, Microsoft, etc.) in the cloud. Deleting your history on one device will sync across all your devices and cloud account (although you might want to double-check that it happens).

Remember that your online Google or Microsoft account stores information beyond your browser history. Microsoft saves your history for Bing search, Office, and other Microsoft products. Google remembers your history on YouTube, Maps, Google Search, and other Google products.

Google Chrome

You can view and manage your Chrome history from the Chrome browser. Note that Chrome may not have all of your online activity history. Google stores your activity and location history it collects from other Google products in your Google account. You’ll find additional search and usage history at history.google.com.
