Apple Cash

Apple Cash works much like a debit card in Wallet. You can send and receive money to others using iMessage or Wallet, and purchase items using Apple Pay. You’ll need to add a supported debit, credit, or prepaid card to Wallet first, and then use that to transfer money to and from Apple Cash.

Adding a credit or debit card

  1. Open Wallet and tap the add button in the upper right corner.
  2. Choose Debit or Credit Card.
  3. Tap Continue.
  4. Fill in the card information manually or use the camera function to capture the card data automatically.
  5. Follow instructions to agree to terms and complete the process.

Making purchases with Apple Cash

You can use your Apple Cash just like any other debit or credit card to purchase items where they accept Visa and support Apple Pay.
