Quickly Switching Between Apps with Recent Apps View

You’ll use many different apps throughout your day. Finding and launching apps using Home screens can be cumbersome and slow when you have a lot of apps installed. You can easily view and switch between your recent apps with a simple gesture.

The Recent apps screen displays recent apps as a series of “cards” or thumbnails of the screens. Depending on your phone manufacturer, it may display the open apps on top of one another or side-by-side (as shown here). Drag a finger to scroll through the apps and tap on an app to open.

• Tap Screenshot to take a picture of the open app. Your device will automatically crop off the notification bar at the top.
  
• Tap Select. All the text within the app will be highlighted. Touch and drag within the highlights to select text.

You’ll also notice a Screenshot button and a Select button at the bottom of the screen.
