Sound Amplifier is a free app from Google that may help those with hearing difficulties. The app records sound from the phone’s mic and plays the sound at an adjustable volume through any wired or Bluetooth headphones. You can set the amount of ‘boost,’ or volume of playback, and how aggressively the app will try to filter out background noise.
