Google Lens is a whole new way to explore the physical world around you. Lens will analyze whatever is in the camera’s sight and give you information in real time. Some things Lens can do:
Scan and translate text. Point the camera at a menu in a foreign language, and Lens will superimpose the translated text on the menu. It will also tell you what is popular from the menu and offer pictures of dishes.
Find similar styles. Scan a piece of furniture or clothing you like and see similar results without having to describe it in a search bar.
Scan barcodes and QR codes. Scan a code and get results about where the item can be found and at what price.
Recognize landmarks. Lens can direct you to everything you want to know about historical buildings, bridges, and other landmarks.
Identify plants and animals. Want to know more about that strange flower growing in your backyard? Lens can look it up for you.
Get help with homework. Scan a math problem or text from a book and get helpful search results.
Lens comes installed on most Android phones, and if not, it’s available on the Google Play Store.
